The Package Monitor uses a wireless device attached to an accelerometer to monitor the movement and drops that a package experiences during shipment. It provides information about the shock received and at what time the shock occurred. With this information it is possible to determine where the device received the shock.
Simply turn on the device and drop it into the package to be monitored. For best results make sure the device is on the outside of the packing material. This allows the device to better record the package movement without being dampened by the packing material.
We provide the device to a customer on a leasing plan. Once the package has been delivered the data is dumped to our servers via the WiFi network at the customer site. The data is then formatted and placed on a secure server that the user can access to obtain the data retrieved. This gives the user access to the data at any time. Custom formatting of the data can be provided at an additional charge.
